2009 GSC Podcast - 1st Episode

It's the return of the Golden Slipper Camp Podcast!

This weekly podcast is our way of sharing our excitement for the upcoming summer! This podcast is for anyone who loves GSC, whether this is your first summer, tenth, or you've been an alumni for 20 years.

In each episode, you will meet a member of our GSC family -- or learn a little more about them, if you already know who they are; you will hear us discuss a topic relevant to the summer of 2009 and GSC; and we will explain any terminology or traditions that are important for our new GSC family members to know, and fun for our returning family members to hear.

We always welcome your ideas for topics or guest hosts, and would even love to have you as a guest host in an episode. All feedback is welcome at gscprograms@gmail.com!

Evening Activity Recap - A dance hosted by It Takes Two Entertainment!

On August 2^nd Golden Slipper Camp had some very special guests. They were Aunt Ilisa and Uncle Mike Noble from It Takes 2 Entertainment. They are past counselors, past CIT Coordinator, past Arts and Crafts specialist, and, of course, past Evening Program Coordinator.

Uncle Mike and Aunt Ilisa decided to bring It Takes 2 Entertainment to GSC to show us how a party should and can be. They brought a whole light and video spectacular to us! We danced while music videos played above our heads, and laughed and sang along proudly when Hava Nagila was played. Of course, the dance ended with Uncle Mike’s signature camp closure song: "Sometimes When We Touch" by Dan Hill. We were very happy to have them back home with us. I encourage you to check out their website and videos for any additional information. They were awesome and I hope to see them back at GSC next year.
